Submission Style Guidelines

BJTLL Author Guidelines

Language

BJTLL accepts manuscripts written in English and/or Arabic.

Length of Manuscript

  1. No certain word count is imposed. However, BJTLL recommends authors to keep their articles in the range of 6000-12000 words.

Abstracts
A short abstract of up to 250 words should appear on the first page. The Abstract should be followed by a line showing Keywords (no more than 6 words, alphabetically arranged, each starting with a small letter unless a proper noun)

Submission of manuscript
Manuscripts submitted for publication in BJTLL should not have been published previously, nor should they be under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form.

To submit a manuscript, please submit it as a WORD document via “Make a Submission” tap. It is important to register your information prior to making a submission. In case you have any problem, just email our team on: editor@ukbrighthorizons.co.uk to assist and guide you.

Once you registered and a submission has been done, the manuscript will be screened by our in-house editorial committee. We usually respond with proceed for blind peer-review or reject within seven working days; in case of 'proceed', we strive to decide as quick as we can. The full consideration is given to the two blind-peer reviewers' feedback to publish the article in BJTLL.

To be considered by authors:

  1. We can only accept attachments which are formatted as a Microsoft Word document, with the file name yourname-first three words of article title, e.g. Taghian-Code switching Strategies
  2. Your manuscript should contain the title of your article, your full name(s), rank(s), affiliation(s), corresponding author email address.
